Storm Model - Lesson 3.2

The downward draft from the cold region, and the upward movement in the warm region cause a circular motion in the air. This causes wind. On the surface, winds travel from the cold region toward the warm. In the upper atmosphere, winds travel from warm areas toward the cold areas.
